What is Shaka?
Shaka is a simple website publishing system for static websites. No bells and whistles. Write your content, arrange your pages in a hierarchical structure and that's it. Shaka combines your content, structure and one or more templates to build your website with automatically generated navigation and a consistent look and feel.
What makes it go?
Shaka is an xsl processing tool. It processes your source xml files one by one and uses a template and an xslt stylesheet to generate your output. All non-xml files (such as css and images) are simply copied to the right location. It's clever enough to process only files that you have changed since you last ran Shaka.
